Garrett Dearden, CFP®, EA is a second generation Certified Financial Planner® professional in the family business dedicated to helping medical professionals navigate the complexities of their family's financial goals while integrating their family's taxes into their financial plan.
His education includes:
- Master of Professional Studies in Wealth Management from Columbia University
- Distinguished ROTC military graduate with a Bachelors from the University of Maryland, College Park
- Arabic Flagship graduate on a year long Boren Scholarship in Meknes, Morocco
Garrett's commitment to service is further exemplified by his service as an active duty Army Infantry officer and then as a Army Reserve Civil Affair Officer after earning his commission through a ROTC scholarship. Garrett received an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain.
After his active duty service, Garrett seamlessly transitioned to our team, infusing his diverse background and military precision into our financial advisory services. He is especially proud to be educating our clients and their families on their wealth challenges for generations to come.

- Enrolled Agent - Admitted to practice before the IRS

Beyond his professional pursuits, Garrett finds joy in spending time with his wife, daughter, pets, and family on Maryland's hiking trails. He is also an adamant Chelsea F.C. Fan.
